St. Patty's Irish Whiskeys

Stop in and taste these with us, March 17th from 4 to 6pm

Jameson Cold Brew

Jameson® Cold Brew combines the smooth taste of triple distilled Jameson® and the richness of natural cold brew coffee flavor into one bottle. Intense rich coffee bean aromatics combined with vanilla nuttiness of Jameson. Distinctive, bold, and natural cold brew coffee flavor followed by notes of toasted oak from the pot still whiskey. Full bodied, smooth and warming on mouthfeel.

Teeling Single Grain

The Teeling Single Grain is a no-aging statement whiskey, sourced from Cooley, aged in wine barrels for around five years, and non-chill filtered, and bottled at 46% abv. The aroma is much like your hot breakfast cereal with a small amount of char smoke, red raspberries and banana bread On the palate, a fairly full whiskey with flavors much like the aroma with a little vanilla cream and a hint of mint. The finish is on the dry side, but the fruit factor is not as intense as you might expect. A bit of water dulls the flavors of the whiskey.

Sexton Irish Whiskey

A sherried single malt which is unusual and a newly release in 2018. This whiskey is triple distilled made with 100% malted barley in copper pot stills This is a creation of Alex Thomas, a Master Blender with 13 years of experience and one of the very few women in Ireland to claim the title. The whiskey is dark copper with notes of malt, wonderful, sweet notes of soft fruit like apple and tangerine, very light cacao, light oak notes, and some copper tang. This has a delicate light nose that is sweet and pleasing. The palate is light and delicate. Starting with a light maltiness, light fruit, soft floral notes, very light vanilla, and some metallic/copper notes. Very smooth and an easy sipping whiskey at 80 proof while maintaining flavor and delicacy. The finish is medium in length with light sherry, young oak, and malt flavors. A delicate and smooth.
